Bachelor of Education with Business Studies
The four-year Bachelor of Education with Business Studies is designed to prepare ethically grounded, pedagogically competent, and contextually responsive educators who can contribute meaningfully to Zambia’s educational and socio-economic develop-ment. The programme reflects Africa Wesleyan University College’s commitment to integrating Christian ethics, professional integrity, and community responsiveness into all facets of teacher preparation. As Zambia’s secondary-school system continues to expand its focus on business-related learning—such as commerce, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy—there is a growing need for teachers who can interpret curriculum accurately, teach effectively across diverse contexts, and support learners through inclusive, evidence-based instructional practices.
Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Entrepreneurship
The four-year Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Entrepreneurship prepares students to become ethical, innovative, and community-focused business leaders in Zambia’s evolving commercial landscape. The programme exposes students to core areas of Commerce and integrates Christian ethics with modern commerce, e-commerce, and entrepreneurial practice. Students learn to design sustainable business models that address local and national needs, apply holistic problem-solving approaches, and evaluate financial and market data for informed decision-making. Emphasis is placed on core areas of commerce and effective communication, teamwork, and digital literacy for technology-enhanced entrepreneurship. Bachelor of Theology
The four-year Bachelor of Theology equips students with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual maturity necessary for effective Christian ministry and leadership in Zambia and beyond. The programme develops competencies in holistic mission, spiritual formation, and sound biblical interpretation within diverse cultural contexts. Students gain a strong foundation in core and comparative theological studies while learning to critically engage global and African religious traditions. Practical training in digital literacy, church management, organizational leadership, pastoral care, and communication; prepares graduates to serve faithfully in churches, faith-based organizations, and community institutions with integrity, wisdom, and culturally responsive ministry effectiveness.
